Golf Outing Guidelines

  •  Your check is confirmation of your registration for all golf outings.
  •   Participants must arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to tee-time.
  •   Reservations are confirmed on a first come first served basis.
  •   Non-members will be charged an additional $5 per event, unless designated a    "member guest event".

  •   Cancellation or rain cancellation/rescheduling decision policy is up to the Golf

Committee or the person running the event.  If you don't show, the money is forfeited

and not refundable.  Please note that each course has their own cancellation policy that

            we must adhere to.

  •   Some sensitivity is exercised to pairings, but members should understand that

sometimes we can't accommodate all requests

  •   General golf attire required by golf courses at all outings.

  •   Car pooling is an individual responsibility and the Golf Committee is unable to

coordinate this on members' behalf.  It is suggested you check the member listing in

your newsletter if you wish to "share a ride" to an event.

  •  Two strikes and you're out.  Guests are reminded that your "guest" status expires after  attending two events, one of which may be a golf outing.

Golf Etiquette - is for the enjoyment of the group as a whole, as well as an expection of most courses

  •  A group is required to keep up with the group ahead of them.  If lagging, courtesy is expected and demonstrated by picking up your pace a little.

  •   Double par is generally the maximum strokes to take on a hole.  You should pick up your ball at that point - ESPECIALLY IF THE GROUP IS LAGGING BEHIND.

  •   Please be familiar with the basic USGA Rules of Golf.
