I recently found out about the Summer Concerts on the Hudson. Every Wednesday evening they have FREE concerts at Lincoln Harbor Park on the Weehawken Waterfront. Sounds good to me!   On Wed., August 20th they will have Tango on the Hudson featuring a company (led by 2007 Grammy winner) of the finest tango dancers and musicians. The concert begins at 7:00 PM and it's BYOC; bring your own chairs-(or blanket).  We can meet at 6:30-after I stake out an area for us. Houlihan's is nearby for drinks/dinner afterwards.
